Dear Esteemed Delegates,

Welcome to the 13th HHHS Model United Nations. It is a great honor to have you all here as we gather to engage in meaningful discussion within the UNEP Committee. Your commitment to crucial environmental issues demonstrates your dedication to shaping a sustainable future for our planet. Together, we will tackle the challenges that face us today and collaborate on innovative solutions. I am excited to witness the inspiring debates and constructive dialogues that we know you will bring to the table.

I am writing this message as Yasma Markiz who will be hopefully remembered as tour friend and not your “strict president” what a pleasure it is to welcome each and every one of you to this extraordinary event!

I am thrilled to embark on this journey with such passionate individuals; and I am thrilled to share my experiences and remarkable hard work that I learned thought these past years and had been moved on to me. MUN was my catalyst in escaping my comfort zine and becoming more confident in speaking publicly to people I barely know. Together, we will explore new ideas and push the boundaries of our understanding while having fun and creating lasting memories along the way. I am committed to fostering an environment where hard work meets adventure, and make this MUN not just productive, but unforgettable!

My name is Mostafa Shreiteh, and I am honored to be your president this year. To begin with, my journey in MUN in grade 7 after I joined my first HHHSMUN and instantly fell in love with it. From that point on, I tried my best to join as many MUN conferences as possible knowing that it filled my memories with enjoyment and unforgettable successful journeys. In my opinion, MUN has molded me into the character I am today, and I can’t imagine how my character would have turned out if I haven’t experienced this amazing program. That’s why my goal for this year is to make you live this experience to the fullest, from the thrilling head-to-head debates, to coming up with feasible resolution papers and delivering your speeches. Finaly, I hope to create unforgettable memories with all of you as your president and be remembered by you as the guy who made you enjoy and discover the true meaning behind MUN.
