My name is Habib Ghaddar, and I'm very glad to welcome you to our special committee, the ICIA. In this committee, we’ll dive into debates so intense that you might actually forget about your smartphone for a few hours. As your most beloved president, my role is to keep our sessions engaging and productive. With this being my 10th MUN, I can confidently say that these conferences have shaped me in ways I never imagined—pushing me to grow both as a communicator and as a thinker. I'm here to ensure that our discussions are both smooth and innovative, and that your ideas reflect the confidence and creativity we value. Thus, prepare yourselves for an adventure filled with intrigue, intense negotiations, and the occasional existential crisis. Let’s make this MUN conference the stuff of legends—or at least a really great story to tell your cat.

My name is Hala fadda and I’m so excited to welcome you into this new and special committee, the ICIA, which will hopefully bring you all a new and refreshing taste of MUN. I have been joining these conferences for as long as I can remember, and MUN has quite literally become a tradition for me and my close friends, encouraging us to learn more about the ongoing issues affecting our world, improving our public speaking, our research skills and so much more. These conferences over the years have played a special role in helping shape the person I am today, and I hope this conference does the same for you all. As we commence this experience together, I encourage you to embrace any challenges ahead and fully engage and delve deep into the topic at hand as it isn’t just any typical topic or committee. I hope we make this conference memorable and raise everyone’s standard of how compelling an MUN conference should be.
