Dear Delegates,
It is an outstanding pleasure to have you as representatives in our committee. We are exceptionally excited to get to commence this journey alongside you, from training sessions, to equipping you with all the answers to your questions while you’re researching, to finally making it to the final conference. When the conference becomes just around the corner, we want you to remember the following:
When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When life puts you in an MUN conference, you make the most of it.
Make the most of this conference. Make the most of every skill you’ll learn, every fact you’ll hear, every debate you’ll witness, out of it all. Additionally, do not betray your confidence. Remain confident in yourself, your knowledge, and your stance. Speaking of your stance, it is highly important to fully acquire your stance prior to the conference. Although it might feel like it, you are not playing a character in a movie. You are representing a country, its morals, its policies, its past, its present, and its future. Thus, it is highly vital to know how your country’s presence should be translated in this committee. Lastly, remember to give it your all and have fun. We believe in you! Good luck!
