HHHS MUN - Day 1

5 Feb 2021

The wait is over! The annual HHHS MUN took off in its 9th edition today on the 5th of February. For the first time in 10 years, our MUN conference has been conducted virtually due to several barriers that we were able to break. Our first attempt at a virtual conference is beyond our expectations. For our opening ceremony, we entertained Mrs. Hayat Mirshad, one of the world’s top 100 most influential women, and Nadine Khawli, an HHHS alumna and a youth development delegate in Lebanon. As for our committees, our delegates delivered speeches, debated, and wrote resolutions for different committees such as UNICEF, UNHRC, FAO, G-20, GA4, and Security Council. We are proud to say that through this conference, we have broken the corona, economic crisis, and lack of stability barriers. Best of luck delegates and see you tomorrow! We can’t wait to see your bright faces on our screens.
