Global School Play Day:
One Day. Nothing but Play

6 Feb 2020

February 5, 2020 is the 6th annual Global School Play Day for students in schools around the world. Preschool Department in Houssam Hariri High School invited the parents to play with their kids. On this day, the children were involved in a supervised yet unstructured play. The importance of this day is really not just to take a day off from our academic work and play, but to provide the students with an unstructured opportunity to interact with each other and use their imaginations to keep them busy, as well as learn how to work collaboratively and even solve conflicts. Students, teachers, and parents came away from this day revived and feeling very happy!

“You can discover more about a person in an hour of play than in a year of conversation.”
