Flu Vaccine Protect Against Flu Viruses!
14 Jan 2020

Helping prevent exposure to the flu virus is possible since vaccination nowadays is more advanced than ever. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that everyone that is 6 months and older should get a flu vaccine as soon as it's available every fall. Vaccination should be done before flu season peaks most likely in October and November. This season's annual flu vaccine will protect the individual against viruses that can cause the flu like the influenza A (H1N1), influenza A (H3N2) and influenza B viruses. Flu symptoms can lead to serious health problems that may be fatal. Besides, cough or sneeze can spread the flu easily from person to person by touching a door handle, desk, pen, etc.
Moreover, flu can be contagious even before realizing the symptom (Flu patient can infect others 1 day before flu symptoms occur and up to 5 days after becoming sick).

HHHS Health Club was aware of this issue and took a step to raise awareness regarding the importance of FLU VACCINE by preparing an educational brochure to advise all how to follow Good Health Guidelines and take them into consideration, like proper handwashing, coughing into elbows, disinfecting the surfaces that are frequently touched, eating right, exercising, getting plenty of sleep and getting the Vaccine shot which help in boosting the immune system.
